        A poppy signifies remembrance. This year our goal is to promote the poppy. It shows that we remember and honor those who have served and those who are serving today.

bulletGirls State

        “Grace, Glory and Girls State,” Angels in Action will be the theme of the Girls State program in 2003-04. This nationwide program that simulates City, County and State levels of government is an opportunity for high school juniors to become active participants in the fundamentals of self-government through structured role-playing and has done so for over 50 years.

This incredible program brings young women together from across the nation to participate in this citizenship training program — The American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program.
